Any predictions for the all-star weekend? On Fri: I got team Chuck beating team Shaq Common as the MVP of the celebratory all star game. On Sat: I got James White in the dunk contest Novak in the 3-point contest Team Harden in the shooting stars Brandon Knight in the skills On Sunday: West over East. Harden is MVP
He's definitely not Lebron James or even Chris Paul for that matter, but almost any team would love to have him I'm sure. Hell I wish he was a Miami Heat player somehow. It's a moot point now but do you think Nash would have fit here? I wanted him pretty badly.
They said the same about Dequan Cook and Jason Kapono. Still, worst NBA Saturday night ever. The best part was how they kept making fun of Nick Cannon and the dunk contestants.
So you don't think it would be nice to have someone who can actually run the offense from the point while Lebron is on the bench? Call him a SF all you want...Lebron is our PG on offense more or less. The offense always moves through him. Chalmers basically just gets out of the way and shoots threes 95% of the time it seems. It would be nice to have someone to run the offense with Lebron on the bench, even if he didn't play extended minutes.
I think it is silly that players were voted in as front court and back court players, but when a starting backcourt guy goes out with injury, it is a front court player starting in his place.
I dunno. You get a Delorian with a working flux capacitor and Gary Peyton would be lethal on this roster.
This is the one day we Heat and Knick fans can put our **** aside and root for the East. Be nice to Bosh. That alley from Carmello to Lebron was pretty sick.
Plays too much hero ball. I love Wade...but he isn't the guy I play at PG and run the offense through.
Why do you need a PG to run it? Wade is more than capable and actually plays elite defense. Nash would just be a big name spot up shooter that's awful defensively on this team.
I'm old school I guess? I like to run the offense through a PG. Wade is obviously capable and I think you may have missed where I said not to play Nash in extended minutes. Probably like 12-15 a game. I'm not as big a D-Wade fan as I used to be honestly....I don't like the way he plays the game sometimes.
It's not as bad as the pro bowl, but not much better either. One of the few areas baseball is still king.
Sad day for basketball and Lakers fans in particular. He also owned my L.A. kings. Probably the most influential owner in NBA history. He owned the Lakers for 34 years and they got to the finals 16 times, winning 10 of those. That's incredible. RIP
I used to really dislike Kobe, but as I have matured I respect his intensity. His competitiveness may not be popular but is certainly unmatched. For the record I believe when it's all said and done even if Lebron only has 3 rings.....he will retire as a better overall player than Bryant.
He's a douchebag. He is "Super Serious softball guy" He is the type of idiot that shows up with eye black for a touch football game. He had his chance to play Lebron hard. He failed both times this year. Lebron dominated in both meetings. Lebron is also 13-6 all-time vs. Kobe. Of course he goes at 100% when Lebron is loafing around. Never has a guy won so much while still being a loser.
