Chicago couldnt have landed all 3 and kept rose. Like I said the only way you could have landed all 3 was if you had a clear cap (no one on it) or if you had bird rights on one and could go over the cap to keep your own player. Zeller is a scorer. Hes actually the best polished offensive big in this draft. He can shoot it and score from the post and set all kinds of combine records for vertical jump. I had him rated #1 overall. Felt he was the best player in thsi draft and the only player with true star potential. FWIW I had Bennett (young Larry Johnson), Noel, Zeller and Porter rounding out my top 5
Based on what? Bennett is a lot more polished offensively. Bennett can create for himself. Porter is a good player and a low maintenance player but his ceiling is lower.
New York and Chicago were also mentioned as strong possible destinations. It's even been brought up in this thread by others who remembered it as well. So it is factually inaccurate to say that everybody knew it was Miami. It simply wasn't. That may have been your guess, but the fact is that if you don't recall how much of a question mark it was it means either your memory is faulty or you didn't watch much of what was going on. The narrative that it was decide a year or years ago is factually false. That was the whole point of this discussion, your claim that everybody knew where he was going and that it was pre-decided. That has been proven incorrect. Fans or media may not like how the team came together, but much of that is based on inaccurate facts like the ones you stated in this thread.
So Michael Carter-Williams was told he was a lock Top 10. We shall see if those agents and entourages these boys keep close to them are legit. Can you guys tell I love CBB? Hahha
I would trade Rubio, Burke is a baller who's game translates nicely to the NBA. Ricky is a question mark IMO.
That can't be right. You trade an All-Star and a 1st round pick on a stronger draft for a rookie? Would make more sense if NO gave Noel and their 14 1st rounder for Jrue.
Noel went 6th. Noel at pick to philly for holliday and a 2014 1st. Thats whats being reported Thats the proposed deal according to espn. I agree with your logic but height in the nba is a commodity and costs a lot more then a pg which pretty much grow on trees
I think NO sent Noel and 2014 1st pick to the Sixers for Jrue. Sixers kept this years 11th pick and picked a pg. That sounds more reasonable.
k so twitter error...the philly trade is Jrue for Noel and philly gets a top 1-3 protected 1st from new orleans
they need everything but if they cant trade the pick now dont be surprised if they take dennis schroeder and stash him overseas
it is celtics pick. they trade two 2nd rounders (unguaranteed contracts) for 13. Mavs trying to create cap space for dwight.
