And Bron is called for the foul? What complete garbage, in fact, the WWE is probably more respectable. lulz Do people pay money to watch this tripe?
Looking like there will be a game seven, this team never ceases to amaze me in negative ways. I dont feel good about a game seven.
That was an absolute garbage foul on LeBron. Probably will be a game seven. As long as Dan Crawford is reffing, the Heat should be fine.
Not over yet but plain and simple the Heat supporting cast has not brought it thus far. Anthony has played well but he is nothing on offense. Norris has played fairly decent. Miller has shown he needs more minutes. LeBron is LeBron. Everyone else so far is not worth mentioning.
Yep, it should not surprise anyone, the league sucks donkey balls and could be soo much better then it is. I enjoy BBall, what that league offers is not BBall, it is stage managed crap and lacks integrity on any level.
game 7 for sure, its in miami, but still better play like they want it, The Spurs will be difficult enough
Heat should go back to playing small, playing their style and riding or dying with it. The two bigs lineups are killing our spacing on offense and not making enough of a difference at the defensive end to make it a worthwhile trade off.
I have to say Im stunned its gotten this far. But welcome (back) to Carmelo's world. No one else stepping up to handle the secondary scoring and Indiana is doing well to make sure it doesnt happen. Vogel is a damn good coach and even if it is somewhat ref-assisted the Pacers are doing this without a damn good player in Granger. If they had him...who knows. Theyre going to be an even bigger force if he comes back and plays well next year.
I think Indiana will look at how they're pressing the Heat without Granger, figure the team plays better without him, and trade him for pieces.
The Heat is getting close to zero production from Bosh and Wade, their top two role players are either ineffective or basically benched and yet Indy has still failed to score 100 in regulation or win back to back games. The national narrative is ridiculous. So much has gone wrong for Heat yet we have a game 7 at home to go to Finals. The Big 3 worked. This was not a failure and the Heat will win Monday night
To be fair, Bosh has been tasked guarding the best center in the league. And this Pacers defense is the best I've seen in recent history. Their team defense is remarkable.
Wade going to go off this game tomorrow watch. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/wade-wants-ball-game-7-155016856--nba.html
I wonder if Bosh has forgotten how insanely athletic he is. He needs to use that against Hibbert and West tomorrow.
Hate to be the one to tell you this...BUT, ESPN treats The Heat like the Patriots and Yankees. I know you can't bring yourself to see it, but it's true. Either way? Heat make an early 4th qtr run, win game by 9
Overall I agree with your premise on this but there is no question that TNT wanted the Pacers to win game six. Game seven means more money for them, plain and simple.
Me and Saturday night basketball just don't fit, I passed out early in the game so didnt hear any of the alleged "hating". But ofcourse TNT wanted a game 7 I think any non Heat fan wanted one...even I did because they are great entertainment. No way Miami loses game 7 at home, even if Lebron has to do it himself (again) they win IMO. If Dwayne "my knee only hurts when I'm sucking" Wade and Chris "I'm as soft as Charmin" Bosh don't step up and give #23 some consistent help??? They will lose to SA easily.
Can someone please explain this "no homo" thing to me. It says many other players say it during interviews and it isn't anything new..... LeBron even said it once.... What does it mean? How did it start? I know what it means but does it have an alternative meaning?
When you say something that could be construed as homosexual but didn't intend it to then you say 'no homo' afterwards right away. I remember it becoming a pretty common occurrence when I was a freshman/sophomore in college (so 2007-2008) but maybe it's just a college thing.
Basically saying something, that could be taken or joked into a gay way, so they will say "No homo", so people know their not saying it in a gay way. It started by a rapper, and just took off.
He's the best explanation I've seen.
it's a clarification of ones intentions haha. The hibbert thing is probably more of a reaction to the use of the word homo.
Yeah the angles taken by the media have been interesting. "WADE AND BOSH HAVE THE SUCK!" instead of praising Indy's D or Vogel's schemes. Reminds me of "LEBRON IS A CHOKING CHOKER THAT CHOKES" was all we heard after the Heat lost in year 1 instead of anything about how well Dallas had schemed for them.
Indy's defense is excellent, but they are not so good as to be holding Wade and Bosh to this level of stinkiness, without Wade and Bosh assisting. Quite frankly, if Wade and Bosh were plaing anywhere close to their averages, this series would be long over. With all that said, look at what had to happen for the Pacers to even be in this series. hibbert is playing as well as he ever has in his career, and Wade, Bosh, Allen and Battier are all so far below their season and career averages, yet here we are in a series the Pacers have never led, with a Game 7 at home. I like our chances and don't buy the media narrative that somehow the experiment has failed. The Heat's approach works. It will work to championship winning tune if Wade and Bosh simply return to competence, not excellence.
I don't think its coincidence all those guys are suddenly playing bad. Obviously its not some indictment of the experiment failing. Even if Miami loses tonight, their success over the last 3 years is undeniable. But Miami's performance is very much due to Indiana's defense. Their team defense is as good as I've seen the last 3 seasons, and thats saying a lot.
No team defense is good enough to account for 4 guys playing so far below their season averages. And it's not a coincidence. Wade, Allen and Battier have been mediocre to bad the entire post season. Only Bosh is really being affected moreso by Indy then it simply ebing a case of injury or a prolonged funk. And bosh has refused to use his greatest strength, his ability to use speed and athleticism to get around hibbert and go to the basket. He wants no part of the banging and as a result has drifted further and further away from the basket
Its ridiculous to suggest that a defense can't take away guys. Allen and Battier are clearly not getting good looks. Even their open 3s aren't coming from the right spots. Indy is taking away the shots Miami wants to take.
