Hope Lin doesnt pull a Norris Cole and dissapear into a role player after what looked like a promising start to their careers.

One went undrafted and the other late in the 1st round after 4 years at not-so-impressive schools... I think both have had promising starts to their careers just getting the minutes they do as well as making contributions. These guys weren't top-5 picks, what kind of expectations should we have for them?

Well thanks to the media Lin will endure much more criticism throughout his growing pains. Both will improve their games a great deal imo. Lin will just have to withstand the "hate" throughout.

LOL. How did Norris Cole Disappear into a role player, when he started as a role player? We have a good Point Guard already. We needed a backup. We got one and He looks like he will develop into more than that.

You didn't have a point guard. Then you got one, but he looks like he won't develop much further, since he has a propensity to soil himself when NBA teams do drastic out of the box things like play defense against him.

Chalk another one up for the New York Media.

Although, they must be slipping, because it might be time to begin trying to push Melo out of town, if the NY Media is true to their M.O.

So Lin has reached his full potential and for Cole the sky is the limit? So shocked a Heat homer would say something of the sort. You guys are normally SO reasonable. LOL.

As for Melo? Dump him if you can get Dwight in a New York minute.

    I didn't say that.

Lin seems to have hit a wall....because....HE CAN'T DRIBBLE THE BALL OR GO LEFT AGAINST A DEFENDER. I think that is a fair assessment of a guy that can't develop further. In case, you haven't noticed, I have already said that he is a good player. But he is pretty much molded already. Cole is a developing player. Not good, not bad, just potential for now. The only thing we know about Cole that is developed is his defense.

Something getting lost in Knicks fans losing their **** over losing last night......

They lost to Dallas in Dallas. Hello...they are supposed to lose to Dallas in Dallas.

Although I must say, Melo has become a problem. I have no idea why he is such a bad player this year. He is actually a detriment to the team right now.

He wants to score, but he only wants to do it one way. He doesn't want to score off making plays defensively, or rebounding, or moving without the ball. He wants to score on isolations.

About time that Doug Collins admits that Evan Turner is really a PG and let's him play as one. Hopefully the stubborn old man will stick with it...

Since a certain Laker fan came in here and flexed his bicep, kissed it and then showered himself with Flowers......

The Lakers have lost in back to back games, to Detroit and tonight...to Washington with John Wall scoring 3 points. WHile "MVP" candidate Kobe has been a disaster in both. (9-31 tonight) 31 shots!

Joel Anthony is my man of the night, dunking in a crowd of three Hawks. With at least one of them slapping the ball, and Im pretty sure another got his hands on it too.

Lakers are trash. Horrific on the road. Kobe doesn't even care anymore, and Bynum is easily stopped with a simple double team.

nah..I'd rather he shoot it if open, but if doubled, pass it to the other two all-stars.

Structural issue? Their personnel is completely mismatched. They have two stars who not only dont play defense often enough, though at least Amare tries hes just not very good at it, but offensively our guru coach can only coach one style. James Dolan better get Donnie Walsh back on the phone and BEG him to clean up this mess HE created.

In other news Minnesota has the 8th seed out West as of right now. They can get a higher seed and right in the thick of things for playoffs.

Okay...sorry Boik..I gotta get my troll on.....

    The Mecca.

    Miami.

Why does Miami have better attendance?

Why does the Miami market have higher local TV ratings for their games as compared to New York?

Does Miami have BETTER basketball fans? Why do people in Miami seem to care so much more than the people in New York about Basketball?

    Okay, I'm done.

I could have swore that Knick fans everywhere have told me before that they are "different" and that they have no bandwagon effect and always support their team.

    LMAO is that all?!

One of my favorite things to tell people is: "When I was your age, I used to walk to the store, barefooted, in the snow.....about 8 feet deep, with blistering cold winds, sleet, and in shorts. These days, youngsters like yourself, have it easy! Thats right! Easy! You play your call of warfare, your grand theft redemption and your super zelda kart video games, masturbate and eat cheetos. Well guess what? This damn world smells like poop. Yucky, sticky, poop! Because with your cheeto eating, *** slapping ways...this world is going down the toilet. When I look out into the streets I see homos frolicing and blacks shooting people with guns for 14 dollars. I see douchebags with fake tans and popped collars 'macking chicks'.....when I was a little spit ball, I would see the milk man, my neighbor putting his mortgage payment ON TIME in the mailbox, and my other neighbor mowing his lawn as his wife, in a dress, would be bringing him out sweet ice tea. ITs a travesty to see what this worlds like now, so wipe your cheeto fingers off, put down the X-station controller and make this world a better place......I just **** myself"

Thats what I like to tell people on a random, daily basis!

Not sure what was said nor do I care. Im obviously not a bandwagon fan as every pro team i like seems to suck ***.

But I HAVE been pretty "confident" in my .500 Knicks I will admidt. But cut me some damn slack fellas, that team hasnt showed ANY signs of life in multiple years....you can scroll back and you wont find me buying all that much into "Linsanity". I mean it was a nice story but no logical fan REALLY believed he was going to put up 20 points and 10 assists every game.

I still stand firm in my prediction that from a talent standpoint the Knicks can be the 2nd best team in the East and create some classic battles with the Heat for the next 5 years. But fact is the coaching is a JOKE, Melo truely looks like he is off in his own little world 80% of the time, and Im not sure whats up with Amare...either he is not 100% healthy or isnt liking his role with the team. Contrary to Sect's opinion im not a fan of Landry Fields of late.

Seems like the only players I think give it their all and have the talent are Lin, Chandler, Novak, JR Smiths gunning a--. Its becoming sad. All I can hang my hat on is that moron may be soon be fired and Melo and Stoudamire figure out whatever they need to figure out. Until then I'm headed for more misery.

You guys should let me cry on your shoulder instead of rubbing salt in my wounds.

My issue is not with the team. I am on record as liking the team. My issue is with the fan base IN NEW YORK. I appointed you as their representative although you don;t live there. I just want you to comment on why they are so full of ****, when they talk about their fandom?
