Thought process:

John Lucas III: "Lebron is cutting to the basket for a lob. I am gonna step to the baseline and cut off that mess. No lob here. Sorry Lebron."

Lebron James: "D-Wade is throwing me a lob, but That John Lucas sniffed it out and has me closed out. This guy is like 5'-11", so maybe I will just jump over him. Sure, yeah, I am gonna jump over him and get this dunk, then mean mug, pose for cameras."

Nothing that was at the end of the game, and what you saw in that GIF is what happened, no words where exchanged.......IMO what I think happened is, that Wade was shaking his head because Rose just B-Lined off the floor when the time expired, and didn't shake hands....not sure tho but thats how I took it...

 

I saw it live, rewinded it few times and then watched the gif. LeBron is saying something.

Dwight Howard gonna have a field day tonight. Hawes was probable last game and now he's not even a game time decision. SMH. More Tony Battie. Hopefully we let Dwight beat us and lock down the perimeter. Oh, and hack the **** out of Dwight.

 

With the way the Orlando ball handlers have been turning it over lately, DH might not see enough touches to have a field day. I predict the 76ers win by 20.

Griffin broke the league

 

That's a nice dunk, but it gets instantly overrated because it was Blake Griffin. It is not even the best dunk that was ever done on Kendrick Perkins. That one belongs to D-Wade last year.

But leave it to ESPN to already be saying that dunk was better than Lebron's.

Because Lebron didn't jump over a person or anything.

 

I'd say this and Wade's dunk are about equal. Not sure which is better between the LeBron dunk though. Jumping over someone never happens which makes it so great. On the other hand, jumping over a tiny guard that's not looking really isn't that difficult to do. I'd probably give the edge to Lebron for the uniqueness.

 

LeBron gets the edge because he caught an alley oop in the process (with one hand).

 

but when you weigh it with Wade being 6'-4" and Blake being 6'-10"....

 

I know nothing about basketball. I watched the Blake dunk, and thought to myself...not bad.

Can anyone link the Wade and Lebron dunks as well. Cause now I'm curious. I'd search, but I'd have no idea if I found the right ones or not.

 

True. Still. Blake's dunk just looked ridiculous. Got hit in the stomach, turned sideways, hand to the face, and just threw it in the hoop. Sexy. To be honest though, if not for it being the preseason, I'd put Jeremy Evans dunk that never was above both. Something about that dunk... Has that old school Vince Carter feel that tops everything as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, I'll agree the Wade dunk was better than the Blake one. If Lebron's had that angry power it would have been the GOAT.

Looking at the Blake "dunk" last night, I'm not even sure that should be classified as a dunk actually. He kind of pushed it in from a distance.

Call me biased, but Wade, all 6-4 of him (on a good day) is more impressive.

 

I disagree that the Blake dunk is overrated. That dunk was wild.

 

The Blake dunk is way better than Wades or Lebrons IMO

 

I thought Lebron's was better, and while I thought Blake's was nasty, I didn't think it warranted the hype it's getting. Perkins barely left his feet to contest it (if he jumped at all).

If it wouldn't have been Blake Griffin doing it, it wouldn't be nearly as hyped.

 

The Blake Griffin dunk isn't overrated. It's awesome.

But I don't think it's better than LeBron's, and I think Griffin himself is overrated as a player worth watching because of the likes of Bill Simmons and that stupid car jump dunk they turned into a commercial.
