Yeah I was proud they were able to keep their win in the last quarter,I was so nervous it would be a Saints game repeat but worse since it was against the Jets. Next week is very important, our Fins have something to prove next week and show why they were division champs last year.
Here's another power ranking (Fox Sports) that has us at #14 http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/powerRankings
ESPN has us at...#20...2 places behind the Jets.... http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast What a farce, I do not think we are a #14 team in the NFL, we have to achieve .500 first, but to be "slotted" behind the team we just beat twice makes the whole process...just a touch stupid.
Actually, when you look at those that are in front of us and then those behind us, I think that's an accurate slotting. I don't see any team behind us that doesn't belong there....do you?
While record should have some bearing, there are other factors determining the power rankings... We got beat by 2 good teams on the road and gave arguably the two best teams in the league, their toughest test yet.
I don't to me the Chargers and Texans have better cases for being ahead of us. We are a late season team anyway though, we win in Foxboro and we are looking at one hell of a special season for starting 0-3.
If we can generate enough of a passing game to get those extra two defensive players out of the box, we can beat anybody.
