Chris Long will not make it past the second pick. Did you see the video that showed Linehan's massive man crush for the guy?

But before they even have a chance I believe he will be gone. For the people saying that we won't draft CLong because we already have JT and Porter, I provide an argument.

1. JT and Porter will be 34 and 31 respectively by the beginning of the season.
2. Parcells LOVES OLB's
3. I believe Parcells said that this team will be competitive in 2010.
4. You do NOT take a lesser player at 1 overall if you feel the position is already filled...by 30+ year olds.

Are they good 30+ year olds, hell yea they are. Do you think they will be ready to contribute in 2010 in a 3-4 D that is heavily reliant on OLB's? I really dont think so. Now I'm not saying CL is the best overall player in the draft because that is something I don't quite know. But I have a feeling that Parcells/Ireland do, and they absolutely NEED to get a difference maker from this pick. And there are too many questions about Matt Ryan for him to be the pick. (sry adam) I feel CL can step up and be a great leader on this team in the future too, which excites me, and I know I at least got Shou on my side on the importance of leadership





P.S. So im a Chris Long supporter...so what?
