I do think you guys need to stop bashing the other QBs in playoffs though that are clearly better than our boy.At least the AFC QBs.
I don't bash Mahomes, except he's been subpar (for him) lately. Allen is fine. Burrow is clearly superior too, and Lamar deserves to be bashed until he conclusively proves he's turned the corner with playoff games. Much of the media is doing that too btw. Same standards for all.
I will say Herbert has a better shot because of Harbaugh and we will be starting over after next season unless Grier pulls out a miracle draft out his ***.
Predictions of Grier's demise have all turned out wrong. This team is good enough to not get him fired. Not saying that's a good thing, but that's the most realistic assessment.
Everyone is better than our boy. That's the problem. There's really no comparison with any of those QBs. It's like comparing a fan in the seats to an actual football player. Tua isn't even in the conversation. He's been physically unable to even exist at the end of the last 2 out of 3 seasons. Even in the one healthy season in his college/professional career (contract year), he only made it that far because he put on tons of weight and took no hits. Org was dumb enough to buy into it. He was asked to lose some weight so he can add another aspect to his game. Then he gets injured badly twice at that weight. So I guess, that's dead, and he's going to need to go back to being fat just to stay healthy. JUST SO LIMITING. The key to winning is deep playoff runs with physically talented QBs. Look at the 4 QBs left right now. All physical specimens who can do anything on a field. 3 of them are going to lose, but it doesn't really change the facts you have a much better chance to actually win a Super Bowl with that type of QB. The idea is to give yourself a better chance to win with the most important position on the field, not make it more difficult.
He's #3 in rushing yards. #1 in rushing TDs. Top 5 passer rating. Hurts can squat 600 lbs. The tush push is a play that other teams would like to do, but no one can do as well, and that's because of their QB.
I get all that but the eagles have the best offensive line,really good wrs and Barkley is a monster.Not to mention a great defence. Eagles in my opinion have the best team but not the best QB as Hurts have never even thrown for 25 tds in a season.He is a game manger that can run.I think Tua is better than him but obviously no tush push because he is to fragile. Howie Roseman is the best Gm in football it kills me to say, because I hate eagles worse than any team in NFL.
