Looks like one of the teams has finally decided to pick the player I said they would take, well them and the Rams but that was from an earlier Mock Up. I'll tell you I like both picks and both teams will prosper from making the right choice. New Orleans Saints select DE Ezekial Ansah, Brigham Young 15th Overall No real surprise here, the Saints need players that can fit their 3-4. Ansah is so raw he doesn't know the proper terms for any technique, instead the coaches for the Saints defense will just end up telling him to get the guy with the ball. Remember Jon Favreau's character in the Replacements, that is Ansah in a nutshell. Tell him to get you the ball and he very well might, just there won't be any insane tremors just a puzzled look if they get too technical with the jargon...I mean what is a tackle anyways? This is a win for the Saints. Peter Kiper Grade: A St Louis Rams select CB Xavier Rhodes, Florida State 16th Overall The Rams GM has been known to get into long, time intensive trade negotiations that go nowhere. So color me surprise, grateful and ecstatic when they got their card in quickly. I had Xavier Rhodes connected to the Rams back in February until they spent all that money on DeAngelo Hall. We've come full circle and the Rams take one of the bigger and physical corners in the draft which fits right into what Jeff Fisher wants opposite Jenkins.
