Pick my QB's Team 1 : Eli vs. Rams (@ St. Louis) or Cutler (@ home) vs. Bolts Team 2 : Peyton vs. Vikes (@ Minny) or Rivers vs. Broncos (@ Denver) Team 3 : Peyton vs. Vikes (@ Minny) or Old man Favre (@ home) vs. Patsies Looking for some insight here. I only ask because I started Eli and Peyton week 1 and of course Cutler, Favre, and Rivers ended up having the great games.
Do you guys think this other guy has enough value to try to work a trade for Addai? His players: LJ, Lewis, Kevin Smith, Welker, Chad Johnson, Holmes, and a lot of low level guys. My team: Palmer, Edwards Addai, DMF, Williams, Slaton, Rhodes Fitz, Marshall, Deshaun Jackson, Walter Cooley, Rosario Min

His players: LJ, Lewis, Kevin Smith, Welker, Chad Johnson, Holmes, and a lot of low level guys. He has enough but I would focus on getting rid of Palmer not Addai.
Its gonna be hard to move Palmer right now because of how bad his first game was. I still think he could bounce back. I want to move Addai because I really think hes going to suffer with a crappy OL, losing carries to Rhodes, and rough schedule,
I don't see it honestly. I think Addai will bounce back, I'm not really thrilled with anything he has to offer unless he offers you a package stud deal.
He said he would give me any WR and RB i wanted. I might be able to get his top 2 RBs for Addai too though so I'm kind of considering that. Having a ton of talent at RB would def help me make a move to get another WR if needed.
What you're not doing is giving credit to a very good front 7 for the Bears. Forget Rhodes' carries as a lot of teams try to limit the workload in the first game, the injury just made it easier. See Tony Sparano and he had TWO top RBs he wanted to rest.
Thats true. But his schedule doesnt get much better. His next 7 games are :Minn, Jac, Hou, Bal, GB, Ten, NE
Sent an offer of Addai and Kevin Walter for Lynch and Bryant. I think if I sent Addai for Lynch straight up, the guy might see that I dont have any faith in him. I sent Walter because he would start as this guys number 3.
I might try Addai, (Slaton Williams or DMF) and Walter for Lynch and Bowe if my main trade doesnt work but we'll see.
The problem is probably gonna be that he knows Im more knowledgable with FF then he is, so he might assume I know Addai is not lookin too good.
Haha I hope he doesnt think like that. Clever is not a word Id use to describe him. Addai's crappy first week won't help tho.
I still think he'll take the deal. Understand why you're worrying, but I think it's unfounded. I think I'm going to hang on to Addai through this week and see what he can do for my team. I took him in the first round, might as well.
I was thinking that too, but their schedules are night and day. Lynch has a ton of opportunities for huge games. Heres their next few games: Lynch: Jax, Oak, Stl, Ari, SD (not great), Mia, NYJ Addai: Min, Jax, Hou, Bal, GB, Ten, NE Even if he doesnt take him I can hope for the rebound too. But man Id love to have Lynch.
I think Addai will be fine regardless of his schedule. Minnesota will drop guys into coverage, making it easier for Addai to run. 90 yards and a TD sounds right.
In a little of a pickle on who to start at RB this week. I guess its a good problem to have though. I need two of the following: Lynch @ Jacksonville, Gore @ Seattle, Jones-Drew vs Bills, Forte @ Carolina, Chris Johnson @ Cincy. I think I will stick with my top 2 in Lynch and Gore but that Johnson vs Cincy looks like it could be big. And i still don't know what i think about the run D of the Bills so was thinking MJD. I have pretty much eliminated Forte though unless you guys can think of a reason to start him over the others.
There's no reason why Lynch and Gore should ever be benched as of this point in time. Tennessee fared well against Jacksonville's run D and so too should Lynch. Seattle's in a funk and is more geared for pass rush than run D so Gore's a no brainer. Forte will do ok but not enough for him to start over those two. Likewise for MJD.
I offered Addai and Williams for Lynch and Bowe. I would have a sick WR group and my RBs would def be upgraded with Lynch. Fitz Marshall Jackson Bowe Lynch DMF Slaton Rhodes I think I could also get Kevin Smith or maybe LJ if I want to move Palmer. I also added Cassel and Logan Payne and dropped Edwards.
Should I drop Hasselback, since Seattle may have trouble in the passing game, since they are depleted at the wideout position? T. Jackson J. Russell J. Flacco T. Edwards M. Ryan K. Orton J. O'Sullivan D. Garrard D. Huard I was thinking about T Jackson as he can also score with his legs what do you think?
It's probably not worth dropping Hasselbeck entirely. Just bench him. Branch and Engram come back in October.
Plus Morris is hurt, so they will be depending on Jones to carry the load more, so they will be passing more, IMO.
heres my team, who should I cut? Perry would be my guess. M. Hasselbeck L. Johnson T. Hightower P. Burress B. Edwards J. Cotchery D. Rosario J. Scobee Baltimore def C. Taylor R. Mendenhall L. Coles S. Smith B. Watson C. Perry also should I drop J. Scobee and add another kicker? would any of these guys be better than Scobee J. Kasay R. Lindell M. Prater N. Rackers J. Reed j. Elam M. Bryant J. Nedney R. Longwell M. Gramatica M. Stover
Mendenhall has been dropped alot, you might want to keep an eye on him.Perry is a starter. I would cut a bench RB first, just my two cents. But what do I know out of four leagues, I'm 0-4... As for the Morris thing, I think Hasselbeck is due for a good game. I'm not huge on Jones being a premier back.
id cut a TE first(Watson) and id pick PRater out of the Kickers. Looks like DEN will be a high scoring team.
