24 plus hours from the game yesterday and while it is great to talk about the game , debate it , review it , analyze it , just thought we could use a bit of a break. Losing sucks , something we all are all too familiar with , the passion we have tends to be expressed in sometimes not so positive ways ( myself included ) so I thought I would mention it will be good to watch the Rayduhs and get a scouting view on our next opponent.

Maybe we can post what we see as areas where we can get some mismatches both on offense and defense , our strengths , their weaknesses , and how we will get our first win of the year.

A lot of this is in our favour , Raiders play tonight , a full 24 plus hours after we did , have to travel from coast to coast , and from west to east which is more difficult and it should be a smoldering south Florida afternoon. They also have not fared well against us lately. Hopefully we have more fans than empty seats and the crowd gets amped up and the players get a surge from that.

    Go Fins!

And Carson Palmer really stinks. If he carves up the secondary It will be time to sound the panic alarm. This is probably one of the few winnable games the Dolphins will have this year.

We win this game we have positive momentum for a heated rival , we are home and have a chance to be above .500 , starts with the Faiders though , hopefully a great week of practice leads us to a win.

That is a winnable game if Miami can get consistent pressure.

I'm just waiting for the stream. Yeah, perfect time to sit back and watch the Raiders.

I'll be rooting for the Raiders tonight, because eff Phillip Rivers, that's why...

    The Raiders HC is 29?

Want to see their Oline and if we have matchup strengths against them for next week.

Thanks , could fathom he was 29 , never rewound to hear it better ... looks like it will be a physical match up along the lines , we'll need to set the edge better than yesterday , when healthy McFadden has take it to the house speed.

    Yup. Derek Hagan. Nuff said.

Notice how Mcfadden loves to run out of bounds at the end of the play?

What do I make of it? It's a smart move by a guy who has had injury problems!

And Hagan is total garbage. I know that for sure. Don't know much about Armstrong.

Their run defense is looking good.

Any one else hear dumb *** Trent Dilfer say if you put the number 81 on Marcell Reese you wouldn't know the difference between him and Aaron Hernandez. :pity:

We beat the crap out of this team on the road last year. Both teams have new head coaches. We play at home at 1 in September.

The only reason for a loss would be the loss of talent on the roster from last year to this.

Have to disagree. If you put two NFL teams against each other all 16 weeks you would get about 16 different results on the scoreboard. There would probably be blowouts on both sides, close games, and a whole lot of variation.

Beating a team last season in no way guarantees beating them the next even if both teams were 100% the same.

It is the viscious cycle we are in..They won't be, and the team will get nothing from it..this team has no arena for which to become champions..

The Raiders remind me of us. Defense is real good, a few play makers and a bunch of unknowns on offense, good kickers, new coaches.

Derek Hagen is their leading receiver I believe..wow...why did they think they could get rid of Louis Murphy and that good tight end they had?

We definitely have an edge. I'm just not sure I want to set myself for that much disappointment by expecting to win for sure.

Teams going from the far west coast to the east coast have an abysmal record. I believe the wins are under 25%. This is one that should favor Miami a lot.

Their #2 and #3 did not play. You put them into the mix and we are worse IMO.

Exactly. Their usual top 3 are Heyward-Bey, Denarius Moore, and Jacoby Ford. As a group that sounds better to me than Bess, Hartline and Naanee. Once Armstrong is the regular #3, the gap will close a little.
