You can totally see Warfield making the period picks, which are fine. Reggie Roby sighting! That guy was awesome. No love for Pete Stoyanovich?
Some pretty impressive players there for sure. When you think that players Like Offerdahl, Green, Foster, McDuffie, Newman and Langer didn't make the list, it just shows how good those guys really were. You could almost make a second team nearly as good.
I was suprised that Offerdahl didn't make it at first but thats some stiff competition he's going against!
I agree with all of the picks, Bob Matheson should definitely be on there since they created a defense built aound his position that took his player number as the name of the defense, The 53 defense.
I'm surprised O.J. didnt say himself for SP...lol. And how anyone can pick anyone over ZT for MB is beyond me. Love the nod to Cox.

I can't believe NONE of them thought about Keith Jackson. I seriously believe that he was better than McMichael....
Yeh me too. The only thing for me is did either of them really have the tenure with the Phins to include them on a "all time" list.
To me, the race between Zach and Nick is tied in the final seconds of the fourth, and they were both that good. I saw them both play, and given today's training and nutrition regimen, Nick was good enough then that they are so close as to be two peas in a pod. Both of them anchored stout defenses, remember? But Nick's went undefeated.
I don't get the Cox pick because like ef33 said "tenure". I loved him when he was here, but he left too quickley. As for Nick, IMO he gets votes because of his popularity with the HBO show and his ties with Miami via his sons tragic crisis. I would place him probably 3rd/4th. IMO Offerdahl was better then Nick.
Yeh I thought that too about Cox, but his attitude and his play was just awesome. So he stands out to me.
