I seriously don't get this one. Here he is during his post game press conference.....

Joe Philbin has no personality.
TRUTH
This team is a no nonsense winner, that commits few penalties and is always prepared. They are never too high or too low. That is exactly how you'd describe Philbin. In fact, I think a case can start to be made that the Packers had Philbin's personality and not McCarthy's. We are starting to see not only cracks in their offense, but in their demeanor as well with Rodegrs and McCarthy needing to be split up yesterday on the sidelines. I thought that team was missing Philbin last year, and this year I'm sure of it.

Tannehill can't win a game in the 4th.
TRUTH
Not only did Tannehill march his team down the field 70something yards to the winning score, but he burned up most of the clock doing it, inspired his teammates, but most importantly, picked the game winning play. If that's not beautiful, then you didn't see him at his press conference........

30 rushes for 146. Both back up running backs had a 4.8 average. Coincidence?

A team has to be angry to win tough games.
TRUTH
I blame this lie on Rocky (The movie, not the poster. I blame syphilis on Rocky, the poster, not the movie.) We tried to be the lovable loser who took too many shots to the face while waiting for the magic moment when we got angry enough to win by throwing the same punch over and over. That didn't work for us. What we're seeing with this team is a methodical attack of our opponents weaknesses, winning with different players stepping up every week. We seem to always know what is happening and how to keep ourselves in it until the right moment. We are winning with intelligence and control instead of rage and emotion. We always have the trick up our sleeves, regardless of what the other team is doing.
We are not Rocky...
We are Batman.

Ok, that's not a lie. They were injured. The lie is pretending we weren't equally injured. We didn't have Soliai or Patterson. Wake got hurt and didn't play most of the game. Wallace had some dings that seemed to limit his effectiveness as well.

I think you mentioned this last year and I thought it was bunk. Then I thought about it a bit more, and decided yesterday (before reading your post) that you are right. Spot on my man!

I just think if you take the Packers the year they won the SB and 15-1 season after, we're looking more like that team then they currently are.

Yep, and you know what did it for me yesterday? Seeing Rishard Matthews come up big in the fourth quarter, out of the blue. Very Packer-like in that many receivers get involved, even when one or two are clearly better than the rest (Wallace, H-Line). Matthews is probably the fifth or sixth option right now, behind Wallace, Hartline, Clay, Gibson and maybe Miller/Thomas. That's saying something. Matthews is a quality guy - we saw that last year in limited opportunities. So, if you can give Tannehill six quality targets throughout a game, look out! Very much how the Packers did it those two years you mention.
