I am kind of excited...I LOVED Test Drive Unlimited. My favorite car game of all time by a country mile. TDU2 was a disappointment. And I was not pleased to realize there will not be a TDU3. But that is because the brainchild left to form Ivory Tower, and Ivory Tower was picked up by Ubisoft to create The Crew! TDU was a really innovative game if you think about. One of the launch titles for the 360, where it essentially integrated MMO with your regular gameplay. I don't know if The Crew will have the collection factor and replay factor that TDU had. I'm not sure if the "gang" angle will play too much into a story line, where TDU was always just about the cars and fun. We shall see. I have high hopes. Is Forza still the same ? Basically like Madden, the same every year, just with updated tracks and cars? I will have to check out Drive Club. But the open world and this awesome playground throughout the U.S. Has my hopes very high. I just dont think the house collecting and character customization aspect is in the game, which I also liked in the test drives.
Has anyone played Horizon 2? Kinda sounds up my alley tbh...with that location and a sense of open play
Not likely the full game (legally; unless they are a reviewer), but there was/is a demo out I believe.
Are betas normally less than a week? I just got into The Crew PS4 beta, and it is over midnight Sunday/Monday. Seems pretty cool, amazing map and area! Been through Detriot, NYC, DC, and in Miami now. Hope to make it to NO and LA if I can get some more gaming time in.
