That is what I call the Dolphins if you guys get Flynn. You also got our former coach Philbin and our former Head Coach Mike Sherman. You guys should pick up Finley. I bet you guys are happy the Pats lost the super bowl hey. You guys feel these coaches will turn the Fins around?

I only wish Philbin could have poached some coaches from GB but alas what we have is a plethora of college coaches instead. It remains to be seen whether they can be molded into what Philbin wants.

You should be excited. You have lots of potential to do some damage next season. The Pats arent going to be as good and they will have the famous super bowl hangover. Really only the Bills and Jets to worry about.

Hey, if we can be a team that was once great, had struggles, but then was returned to its former glory as well - you can call us anything you want!!

While that's a nice thought, we've learned to NEVER underestimate Brady and Belicheat and the Patsies around here! We just have to get better than them, that's all!

Yea we tried the Cowboys south and that didn't work so well, so maybe the Packers south will turn things around.

To do better than what you guys did last year means we will go 16-0 and win the Super Bowl. That is not a bad idea right there!!

So what's your opinion of Philbin as a HC and Sherman's offence? What can they do that makes them successful and are there things that they do that don't work?

If you sent us Aaron Rogers instead of Flynn, that is when I will be excited. Right now we still don't have a quality starting QB on the team. I have no idea why you think the Patriots are going to be worst next year. They were 13-3 this year and they have 5 draft picks in the top 96 picks in the 2012 draft. They also have one of the top QB's in the NFL on their team and the best coach in the NFL. So I expect that the Patriots will once again win the AFC East next year.

Most of us down here have learned over the last decade that it is not wise to get excited about coaching changes with the Dolphins. We have learned through our disappointments with Jimmy Johnson, Dave Wannstedt, Nick Saban, Cam Cameron, and recently Tony Sparano, that a coaching change is no assurance of success on the field. I think we all hope that Philbin will be the one to come in and turn this organization around but we have thought this several times since Shula left as the teams head coach.

Right now, unless the Dolphins are able to get a healthy Peyton Manning in free agency, I see the Dolphins going 7-9 or possibly 8-8 next year. If they are able to sign Manning and he is healthy, I can certainly see the Dolphins being a playoff team in 2012. Without him, I just don't see the talent level on the Dolphins being good enough, with a mediocre QB, to play better then 500 ball next year. I think it will take Philbin two or maybe three years to get the Dolphins into the playoffs without Manning.

Philbin will be a good coach. Rodgers had 45 td's and only 6 interceptions but our running game wasnt the best. I think he can make the Dolphins passing game into the top 5 in the league. Sherman has the tendency to go conservative alot especially with a big lead. That is his major downfall.
