    Didn't buy the series. Confidence is not as high as it was for the Cavs series.

    I bought this prop:

    A) Dwight Howard vs. Kobe Bryant. (Points Per Game in series.) I took Howard against the spread. -8 1/2.

    I am getting +250 on that bet. Good buy I thought.

    Eh... I'm not so sure.

    I expect Kobe to put up video game numbers... much like LeBron did. The Magic are going to let Kobe get his, and focus on everyone else. Thats what they did during the regular season, and I expect the same strategy in the Finals.

    For example... in the 2 games they played this year... Kobe averaged 35 points. I expect more of the same. That puts Dwight at averaging 26.5? Possible... but I also think Kobe will be stepping it up from the regular season... and Dwight averaged 25.8pts/game against the Cavs who are smaller and have less post presence...

    I might hedge that bet...



    But let me say... I hope you're right! :D

    I think Pietrus will bother Kobe enough in a couple of games to keep his average down, and he makes the lakers hum when he shoots less than 14 times a game.

    If he is going nuts...the lakers are losing.

    i think he will be the GOOD Kobe..and will reserve the EVIL ball hogging Kobe if things get desperate.

    I LOVE...LOVE my bet.

    Howard is a lock to average 25 in this series...and I think Kobe will be around 30.

    So many pieces have to fall into place to make it to the finals, much less win it, that when you make it this far you better win because it may not happen again imo.

    Nelson looks good and Pietrus needs to settle down.

    on a side note, anybody in SoFla having a trouble with the HD broadcast??? Mine is in both Spanish and English! Very annoying.

    Lakers are all over the place on defense in the last qtr, need some adjustments in the locker room so we don't get any further apart than 10 points.

    I'm loving what I'm seeing from Nelson... but I am really worried about him playing the ENTIRE 2nd quarter?!?

    This guy hasnt played in months... dont want to burn him out. I think we need to break up his minutes more...

    I like the Magic's adjustments, they got more aggressive on defense here in the 2nd half.
