Thank You sir this humbles me and I promise i'll never forget. Thanks for sharing friends, they are now mine
One always speak well of their friends and I know I am biased...but these were GREAT people! Take Mikey for example. The day he was killed, he wasn't supposed to be on the firing range. One of the guys on the team was sicker than a dog. Mikey told him in his THICK Puerto Rican accent (He had a THICK accent ), "papi, es too eezy. Ju stay en bed, I got ju covered". He was THAT wonderful and THAT giving. Our friend Morgan Paul to this day still feels guilty. He knows it was supposed to be him on the range and not Mikey.
Always remembered on this somber day. May God bless and keep them all in his hands. http://www.virtualwall.org/do/OdonnellMD01a.htm It contains the following poem written by the Major before his Huey went down: I would hope you all take a moment to read the complete link as the Major surely deserves no less.
^^^^^ Let us not forget our Wounded Warriors, also. Most of whom would not be here but for the Air Force Combat rescue teams and the medics they are flown to.
