Today is Veteran's Day. Try to take the time to thank a Vet today.

I'm thanking my grandfather who fought in WWII. If you're looking for something to read, pick up a copy of "A Helmet for my Pillow". It is one of the most honest recounts of life during the war in the Pacific Theater. It was also the inspiration for "The Pacific" miniseries on HBO earlier this year.

your family has had more servicemembers than most families I know

Is that why you're in El Paso, btw? I have a lot of family there now, and it has to do with Ft. Bliss and White Sands.

We're a military family though. Only male in my family that didn't serve was one of the uncles. Everyone else did some time
