..... in case anyone wants to talk about the game and its players. I like Boise State's DJ Harper, so I'll be keeping an eye on him. Lots of small school kids, including Ray Ray Armstrong. I seem to notice a correlation between the lesser the caliber All Star game and the harder it becomes to pronounce players' names.
I think that maybe a guy to keep an eye on is MLB Jonathan Stewart from Texas A&M: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMPPaTTLtOw
Wasn't there talk about a "senior bowl" like week talked about for underclassman last year? Or did I miss it already?
I just downloaded the East West Shrine Game off youtube and been watching that. Lots of interesting players, but I guess you've seen it already TP (The Phinsational)?
Ryan Griffin is a good looking QB. Best I've seen in an All Star game this year. He looks definitely draftable to me. His low ranking right now is likely mostly due to Tulane being a bad team.
This small college TE, Brian Leonhardt of Bemidji State, looked really good. After the big 2 plus Reed, he impresses me just as much as any of the rest.
Some WRs were impressive. Kenbrell Thompkins, Cincinnati, La'Rod King, Kentucky, and Marcus Sales Syracuse, all made themselves noticed in positive ways. TP, who made that INT in the back corner of the end zone late in the game? edit: It was Chibuikem "Kenny" Okoro, Wake Forest. Really nice play. Another impressive WR was DeVonte Christopher of Utah.
The guy who posted the entire East West Shrine on youtube may post this game too. If he does I'll let you know. You can download off youtube on to real player.
