Houston Texans fan here, and we will be attending the game this coming Sunday. I want to fist say I think you guys played much better than many expected. Atleast after listening to sports talk radio this morning that is the general concensus.

Here is what I think the "Keys" to the games are for both teams.

    Texans on offense
    1. Will Foster return for this game? Word out of Houston it's an 80%. If Foster can't go it will be Tate and Ward. Derrick Ward sprained his ankle last game. Houston needs to continue to run the ball.
    2. Kevin Walter our #2 receiver will probably be out this game with severe bruise on his shoulder. That means Jacoby Jones is #2 WR and recently sign Bryant Johnson is #3. Pretty thin.
    3. Andre Johnson returns home and will look for a repeat of last weeks performance. After getting beaten for 500+ passing yards, I can see Andre Johnson and TE Owen Daniels having HUGE games.
    Edge- Texans

    Texans on Defense
    1. Texans nearly had a shutout last week vs Colts in Wade Phillips new system. This team is playing with confidence. Mario had 2 sacks, and nearly a 3rd but intentional grounding occured. I look to see Wade Phillips dial up Blitz to disrupt Henne
    2. By all accounts, everyone is fully healthy on defense and this will be the 2nd regular season game in the new 3-4. I can't see the Texans afraid of Reggie Bush (especially without a solid fullback clearing the way). If the Dolphins can't run effectively, it will be a long day for Henne.
    3. Texans Corners played well vs. Colts. Free agent signing Johnathon Joseph and Daniel Manning played extremely well. Texans hope to platoon Kareem Jackson with Phins former player Jason Allen.

    Dolphins on Offense
    1. Dolphins NEED to establish the run early. I can't see Bush being overly effective, but they must try.
    2. Dolphins will need to slow down the aggressive Texans pass rush. They should run draws, Screens, and quick slants.
    3. Dolphins need to try and take advantage of the 2nd rd. player Kareem Jackson who had a brutal year last year. I'd throw it deep atleast 4 times (One each quarter) at Kareem Jackson hoping for a big catch or pass interference.

    Dolphins on Defense
    1. Need to make the Texans work to go down the field. Texans are missing their true #2 WR. But, they must make sure they contain Owen Daniels.
    2. If the Texans establish the run early, Dolphins will be forced to bite on the play action and that is where the BIG plays will occur.
    3. DE's need to try and stay at home.
    4. Against the Texans offense, the Dolphins MUST create turnovers. Houston is another tough matchup for Dolphins, especially after coming off the Patriots loss.
    5. I'd double/triple team Andre Johnson and make others beat you.
    6. Dolphins MUST pressure Schaub to get him uncomfortable.

Guys, those are my keys to the game. We are looking forward to traveling to South Florida for the game. I see Vegas has the Texans -3.

    Here is my prediction.

    Texans 28
    Dolphins 17

i think its a mistake to think just because we gave up 500+ yards to the patriots, that this will be a repeat performace just like that, the texans besides johnson, dont give us matchup problems like the patriots can, i have not really watched the colts game, i know the players you have but i dont know how they did, i would try to get a mismatch on williams and make him cover, is joseph strictly on one side or does he cover the other teams best receiver ?

i see us bouncing back dont wanna predict a score but miami wins

Owen Daniels is a great TE, and Dressen the #2 is also pretty good. They do have more than just Andre Johnson. We'll see.

Oh and I really hope we can actually create pressure. Patriots don't even have a great O-Line...

    1. Not allow 500 passing yards.

    2. Lose the vagina and toughen up.

    3. Try and touch the QB more than once.
