Texans Reliant Stadium "Not Usable"

As Hurricane Ike continues to batter Texas, the Houston Chronicle is reporting that not only will Houston’s Reliant Stadium be in no condition to host an NFL game on Monday, but it might have sustained damage significant enough to call the Texans’ future games into question as well.
“The facility will not be usable,” said Shey Guinn, the president of SMG, the company that manages Reliant Stadium. “There’s some structural damage to the roof. Part of it is off.”
The Texans-Ravens game that was originally scheduled for Sunday and then moved to Monday cannot be played at Reliant Stadium this weekend, the Chronicle is reporting. It is not clear whether the game will be played at another stadium this weekend or moved to a later date.

Doors and five panels of the roof have been blown off. The president of SMG is saying that this may not be able to be repaired in a couple weeks. There could be more damage done to it but they have to wait for Ike to pass.

Agreed. And Ike is a category 2, it's hardly the worst storm that could have potentially hit the area.
If they couldn't proof the design against hurricane-force winds, which idiot approved it?
