Yeah they may still try to throw all day. Especially since Andre Johnson has been hot playing all season.
I think it can only help. I mean maybe Vontae and Smith will step it up a bit more by then and pick them off a ton... Its Holiday time, I can wish for things, right?!?!?!?!
Of course. Most likely Vontae will have to cover Andre Johnson which is no easy task for anybody. He will step up the challenge though. I would love Vontae get his 4th pick and Smith get his 1st one since the Saints preseason game.
Yeah, I saw that. That's huge IMO. I would now roll the defense towards Johnson with more players rushing or covering and let the D-line handle the run.
Schaub is banged up too. He's still playing but he's wearing a harness on his non-throwing shoulder. With his injury history and their playoff standing it wouldn't be a shock if he's not playing in three weeks.
The are currently on a 4 game slump, maybe the injury will be the straw that breaks the camels back???? This weekends games seem to be ok for us other than the Baltimore Game. The Jets have Sanchez out which will help some what, I think and also the news on the Texans. All this can only help. I obviously we need to win ourselves!!!
Doesn't seem like anybody is celebrating the injury... Just saying it helps. Anyway, I think the Slaton injury may weaken their running game but it seems like they always find ways to beat us so we need to step up and play good.
No way man, no one wants anyone to get injured. I think it brings things to a more level playing field since we are obviously missing a few key starts... Now any injury to the Jets thats a different story....hahahahah joking
