Marvin Harrison is known as the biggest flopper among Wrs in the league. If there is anychance of him getting hit he goes down like a Qb.

Ginn is a Wr, and a small one at that, to expect him to relish contact is unrealistic.

another player that avoid contact alot is wes welker, while he does get nailed a lot when he is going up for a catch. When he is running you will notice that is always falling forward right as someone is going to tackle him in order to avoid getting hit hard.

Ginn Jr. so far is actually on a very good progression path. There's not too much to worry about with him as he'll probably eclipse 1000 next year.

Tell that to the OC and the QB. They are at no less fault than Ginn is.

I mean he can't catch passes that aren't thrown to him.

(no i am not knocking penny or our OC)

not sure who is saying Ginn at this point in his career IS a #1 receiver. the dolphins do not currently have anyone on the roster i would call a #1 receiver. What this thread is about Ginn's progression thus far into his career and what you can expect out of him in the future.

Like i was saying people have unrealistic expectations for young players sometimes. While they can point out the players that never worked out, they will never own up to thinking the same way about players that did end up working out, such as Ronnie Brown or Vernon Carey who was thought of as a bust after his first year in the league.
