Just something interesting that i did not know, the team with the first pick, is responsible for coaching the senior bowl and running all the drills, so if you change coaches there wont be much time to do it

hum... well would still have Dom Capers who has tons of experience in the nfl... worst case scenario, he would be in charge with all the coaching staff on the team (I hope Mularkey won't be involved, please oh please, we don't need a screwed up draft !)

Randy would also be very usefull for the talent evaluation...
I'm not very worried... and I think this whole "firing cam" thing is only a hype of frustration, huizenga won't pull the trigger and I'm pretty glad... get the old whinning farts out of Miami (taylor, traylor and the others we don't hear about) build a young team and be patient.

Actually the teams with the top two picks coach the two sides, but if there is a coaching change it goes to another team. When the Dolphins had the 2nd pick they didn't send their coaches because there was a coaching change. If Cam gets canned another team will send their coaches.

We drafted Offerdahl based on his All Star game performance, it would be a benefit to coach the game but let's not put too much weight on that, even the Browns got to coach the game and that didn't give them a particular advantage in the draft.

Would the 49ers or Patriots get to coach the other team?

Why? Any change immediately means you won't have a prepared staff to go. To me this is the only downside of canning Cameron.

Dude Cam sucks, We need to get rid of the guy, I'd take Saban or even Wanstache cause atleast they knew how to win...... I use to think that Saban and Stache use to make stupid moves, but Cam has beat them at that. Let me name a few:

    1. Starting Beck, he was clearly not ready and Cam is the coach and should not listen to the Fans, your are paid Millions to coach listen to yourself for once.

    2. 4th and 1 at Philly kick the ball, See if you defense can stop them and maybe you can drive.

    3. He stops punting in Pitt

    4. My biggest pet peeve, stop running out the clock before the half. Why dont you grow the same pair of cojones you do everytime you for it on 4th downs and try to drive down the field for at least a field goal. God knows you have lost 6 games by FG

    5. Throw the ball Deep, You have Ginn who is super quick and you play him like possession reciever.

If Cam coaches, his team loses 40-14.

Not really Bonedoc, the NFL is like a sorting machine that separates out the wheat from the chaff, every year there will be a percentage of coaches who become NFL roadkill and have to be replaced.

Many long time NFL fans remember the old way of only 2 or 3 coaches leaving, those days may be over.

The real funny thing is like NFL Qb's, there is only so much talent to go around the league.
