    I don't really see how Roth and JT would be on the field at the same time.

    If they are, that would probably mean that Wake isn't ready yet.

    But if he is ready, and Roth improves just a touch, JT still has gas in the tank, and Porter picks up where we left off last season, we could end up with one of the most dangerous pass rushing defenses in the league. I know, a lot of ifs.

    We had a lot of ifs last year too. With the new regime, more good than bad has happened, so I'm expecting things to move in the right direction... :up:

    Adding him could also take time away from some of your younger players

    It could, but I don't buy that it could hurt their development. There are more than enough defensive snaps over the course of a season for everyone to get plenty of chances to kill the QB.

    Maybe a package of Joey Porter on the weak side, Jason Taylor at inside linebacker and then Matt Roth at strong side linebacker. Get Taylor to blitz from the middle, Roth and Porter on the edge.
