Best tips for someone who doesn't necessarily have a grill of their own, but still wants to tailgate? I was thinking we should bring a good amount of beer, and if we're lucky we might be able to score some burgers or something from some fellow fans. Any tips about the best time to arrive for a 1pm game? Heading down there tomorrow, all the other games I've been to I've missed the tailgate, I'd like to do it right this time.
Not sure how many games you've been to, but I usually show up around 11 on my own time. if i'm going with a big group of 15+ we start around 9-10ish, bring our choice of alcohol and some food from publix and post up in whatever section we're at. There's going to be a party going on almost anywhere you park, and you can always walk around and meet all the other tailgaters. I've ran into some HUGE tailgate parties with some pretty good DJs who bring their own deck and sound system, I've even ran into people playing a pick up game on the grass and joined up with them. I've never had a bad experience. Always a ton of fun. Also probably helps that i'm undefeated at games i go to Edit: I've also gone to the games in both a pick up truck full of coolers, a grill etc, and just a regular sedan with whatever we could fit in the trunk. Either has been fine, although sometimes they try and squeeze you into some extremely crazy-tight spots.
tailgate and have fun, but please do us all a favor and shut it down early to get in your seats comfortable before intros..and tell anyone that will listen to do the same. its really your duty if you wanna have an impact.
Is this Juuuuuuuuuice chant you're talking about sort of like when Kuhn from GB runs with the ball? I find that awesome haha
