Have Miami taking RB Traylon Snead in the 7th round in their mock.

I know he is big, but hasn't really proven anything. Would you draft him?

Not a big surprise, since none of the listed players really have much of a chance of playing in the NFL. I assume they will probably be picked up as free agents, but I don't think any of them will make it out of training camp on still on a roster.

The big back might. He is a big guy with a lot of tread on his tires. Never know. Some second string backs have made NFL rosters.

The only success he had in college was in junior college. He had no success at the University of Texas or SMU. He might have the size to play in the NFL, but I question his desire to compete at the highest level of football.

June jones spoke highly of him. Worth a shot in camp.

I read a twitter rumor that the RB was wildly out of shape

I think this was just a case of Jones not wanting to bad mouth a player in public. Snead only played in four games for Jones at SMU and was injured during the remaining games. During the four games Snead played in, he gained less than 200 total yards rushing.

I am sure Jones probably was more honest in his opinion of Snead when he spoke to NFL personnel in private and that is probably why no one wasted a 2015 draft pick on him.

It might have happened in the past, and I missed it, but, I have yet to hear of a college coach that said his ex player, entering the draft, was ....worthless. It's bad for business.
