Wait so two unpopular high school students (ie nerds) decided that the way to get more girls was to create a comic book super hero. Yeah that makes sense. So yeah this explanation makes more sense.
Alot of the origins of things like this either have really weird or sad beginnings. For instance, the turtles were created when two guys hard up on there luck were getting drunk in a bar and started scribbling on a napkin.
Very interesting read, and sad too. Those men should have been given more credit, and DC Comics made millions, the least they could have done was share a small portion with the men.
