STOCK UP OLB Charlie Anderson - Call him the man with a plan. Ever since Vonnie Holliday convinced this young linebacker that he needs to approach every game, and every play with a pass rushing plan opposing quarterbacks have felt his presence. Two Sunday's ago against the Bills Anderson registered a sack and forced two fumbles. Against the 49ers he got another sack and would have had a second one if he wasn't so intent of stripping Shaun Hill of the ball. But Hill escaped his clutches on a second-half play and threw the ball. The Dolphins need Anderson to continue taking positive steps because he's potentially the best pass rushing option to pair Joey Porter with. At times the Dolphins lined the two outside linebackers next to one another, making the 49ers overload one side of the line with blockers and tight ends. That formation allowed Matt Roth to register his fourth sack of the season on a clean, unblocked shot at Hill. STOCK DOWN WR Ted Ginn Jr. - He's drawing plenty of defenders, opening up the field for everyone else, but Ginn isn't make the most of the opportunities he's being presented during games. For the third straight game he dropped a key pass that stalled a drive. Ginn also failed to turn a short drag route upfield on a third-down catch late in the game, which stalled another drive. His kickoff returns are also fizzling because he's spending too much time setting up blocks that aren't there. An elite returner of his caliber should be averaging more than 20.5 yards per return, which is what he's produced on 32 opportunities this season. Not all of that can be blamed on poor blocking. Over the past two games Ginn has contributed three catches for 24 yards. Ginn's got 50 catches this season, and is well on his way to leading the Dolphins in receptions. But is he really a No. 1 receiver? Miami Dolphins | Sun-Sentinel Blogs: Stock Report (Game 14)
Samson Satele is getting killed at Center and he def needs to move to guard. I keep wondering about Ted Ginn tho. He shows up and than he disappears. Wonder if its coverage of Pennington losing faith in his hands
Oh, they're just bashers...they don't know what they're talking about! I've been assured by several people here that NO ONE could get more return yardage on kicks than Ginn has with the blocking he's been given!
If only. (Actually, I don't watch the games at sports bars anymore...the chairs are too damned uncomfortable to sit there for over three hours.)
