[deleted]Luxury BoxOPAn elementary student in Marion County was arrested Thursday after school officials found her cutting food during lunch with a knife that she brought from home, police said.
The 10-year-old girl, a student at Sunrise Elementary School in Ocala, was charged possession of a weapon on school property, which is a felony.
According to authorities, school employees spotted the girl cutting her food while she was eating lunch and took the steak knife from her.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I feel safer now.

joker2thiefNew MemberWell that will show her.The juvenile assessment center will put some fear into her.What was she thinking bringing a knife to school to cut her food-those plastic knives they have break just fine on bread.Now if the caught her cutting food with it and if school officials after talking to the students could asses that she did not threaten anyone with it-why bring the police in? Just handle it in house discipline her for the infraction but don't arrest her and take her to the juvies.
