Better off not to get any respect gives an this angry team more motivation to earn that respect. A convincing Dolphins win this weekend is likely.
Brian Baldinger also hinted that he thinks Miami will be pushing for a playoff spot. It was nice to see Matt Roth and Yeremiah Bell both get props.
ESPN - Sunday Countdown online: Your weekly NFL guide - NFL Sunday NFL countdown Cris Carter heads to Miami for a football history lesson and learns how the "Wildcat" formation has turned around the Dolphins' season.
Look they don't owe us jack right now, we've only won 2 games. We can't look past each Sunday because of the wins over NE and SD, don't get caught in the trap. Houston plays us hard every game and has gotten us on some very close games recently and I look for this game to be a lot closer than most think.
Well said, I know the last two wins for us were huge, but lets not forget we've never beaten the texans, Schaub is back at QB, They have some pretty good receivers, and of course, Mario Williams. Also, im sure they'll be fired up and will have a point to prove after their collapse last week with Indy. Confidence is up in the fans, and in the locker room, but we still have to be aware. I too, think it will be alot closer than many think.
As big as these two wins have been, a win over Houston would be even bigger, at least from the "proving to the talking heads" viewpoint. I think they still look at us beating those two teams as more of a where-those-teams-are-right-now than where we are. The Wildcat somehow is taking away the fact that we smacked both teams up side the head...In fact is seems due to the Wildcat, we kicked them in the shins rather than smacked them up side the head... At any rate, why sweat it ?? I don't mind being overlooked by the media...takes the pressure off the team and might start to add some locker room material for the guys...
I love not getting any respect from these jackasses. Makes our wins all the better showing the ESPN crew they can't pick games to save their *****
I actually think the Texans would be better off with Rosenfels starting as he has to be pissed off at how he lost the game for them. Schaub is someone we should be able to handle.
The Texans game makes me very nervous because they seem to beat us whenever it seems we have momentum building are should beat them. I think we are all getting too excited right now and if the Texans win we are going to be right back where we were week 2 fan excitement wise. Remember although things are looking good we still aren't sure if the Fins are truly back. Although it seems that way let's keep our expectations low. Plus I can't believe no one said the Jags can beat the Broncos.
Actually, if it wasnt for a prayer 56 yard FG, we would have won last year... Thank god we lost. If we won, at 2-14, who knows of Cam would still be here
I got your point, but I have little doubt that even if we were 6-10 last year, Parcells would have brought Sparano and Ireland in.
if we went 6-10 last year, who knows if Parcells would have even been brought in. I dont think he would have been.
I heard that. Its great to hear something positive about our team this year and not hear about our disastrous season last year.
