Mendenhall was robbed of his phone, cash and wallet, according to sources familiar with the investigation. His agent was available for comment. "It was obviously a scary moment," said his agent, Mike McCartney. "But he is fine. He is doing great. He said he doesn't have anything that is worth his life." According to reports, the robbers wore black hooded sweatshirts and ski masks. No one is currently in custody.
What is up with this robbing at gunpoint? I bet this was in Chicago, thats where the latest ones have occurred, at least to superstars. Antoine Walker of the Timberwolves and Eddy Curry of the Knicks also got robbed at gun point. This has become ridiculous. Plus, I wonder if his hamstring "hurt" when these guys came through ...
