In what has become the busiest offseason in team history the Steelers have made 2 more big moves as well as a smaller one. After a feverous negotiation with the Colts, they acquired All-Pro defender Dwight Freeney for Ziggy Hood, Aaron Smith, Vernon Gholston, and the 52nd pick in the draft. Speaking at his press conference from the Combine, an exhausted GM, Sports24/7, had this to say Freeney will be asked to switch positions from defensive end to the rush linebacker position vacated by James Harrison when he was traded. In a released statement Freeney had this to say, The Steelers also a very talented young wide receiver in Hakeem Nicks from the Giants for the first round pick they obtained from the Ravens. Nicks, a first round pick in last year's draft had a very good rookie season for the Giants racking up almost 800 yards and 6 touchdowns. The Steelers also traded center Justin Hartwig to the Cardinals for a high 4th round pick. After their early moves to improve their line Hartwig had become expendable.
