Steelers | Fan accuses cook of spitting in burger Fri, 28 Mar 2008 11:36:32 -0700 The Associated Press reports a fast-food cook and Seattle Seahawks fan has been accused of spitting in a hamburger that was ordered by a man wearing Pittsburgh Steelers gear. Kittitas County sheriff's deputies are saying the 37-year-old customer was with his daughters at an eatery and traded remarks with a cook about Super Bowl XL. The customer reportedly opened his food container and said there was spit on the burger. The man demanded a refund and called the fast-food restaurant's district manager, who told deputies a 24-year-old might be responsible. Deputies went to the employees house and smelled marijuana.
