Stay away from “free credit report.com “And all site like it. They swindle you bad. My wife got her report though them, then I called 2 weeks later letting them know that we did not want their credit guard. 8 months later, I am still trying to get them to stop charging. They will stop for a month then start charging all over. I finally had to change my cards (what a pain) to stop them. My bank has stepped in finally and is filling a fraud charge, but this will only return 3 of the payments. It is not enough money for the police to get involved. Then to go after the rest I will have to get an attorney and that cost more than I would get. That is why they do it; people say it is not worth it.
Once they get you card number, they will abuse it for as long as they can. So stay away, save yourself the headache. If you want a report, use he offical goverment website, you get one free a year, no strings.

You are actually entitled to 3 a year, from 3 different companies. EDIT: 3 a year total from three different companies, not three from each.

equifax and two others. do it every few months just be sure someone isn't ****ing your ***.

Dude that's terrible. Hopefully it'll be over with.

When I was looking to get mine done, I specifically stayed away from them. I'd done some research and fortunately I learned what they were really about. The State of Florida's website actually says they aren't what they lead you to believe.

My bank recommended True Credit. They are a TransUnion company, which is one of the Big 3 credit bureaus. There you can get your credit report and credit scores from all three companies, as well as a bunch of other stuff.

It's $14.95/month. You only have to do it one month if you wish (usually this is about what you pay for your credit score). I don't know if there's trouble canceling, since I still use the service. But I figured my bank wouldn't steer me wrong.

If you're looking for a credit report only, indeed you are entitled to one for free via the real government sites.

Well, you can always go to the Credit Bureau in person US Army.

I've heard some terrible reviews about that Company, dorky guy in the pirate hat aside, they are scammers, I've never heard a good review of their services.
