From our good friend Peter King: Stat of the Week The number of arrests, per team, in the AFC East since January 2009, when Rex Ryan was named coach of the Jets: Miami: 6. Buffalo: 5. New England: 1. New York: 1. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/peter_king/09/26/Week3/3.html
I really don't care about it. But that said, how many of those Dolphins were first time offenders? All of them? Of course, the Jets traded for Edwards one day after he punched Lebron's 130-pound friend outside a club, for which he plead no contest and was placed on probation. That was the reason Cleveland traded him. Same thing with Santonio Holmes. His legal troubles and off-field antics were why he was available. Edwards was with Stallworth the night he killed a man while DUI. So he has one arrest as a Jet. Congrats to them. If Brandon Marshall messes up heaven forbid, I'm sure we won't hear anything from New Jersey about it.
