good read... looking to see improvements out of Ginn this year... he doesn't have to be 1000 yard guy especially with the QB situation in question... but he has to show strides towards being that impact WR
Really good read, thanks. I'm really excited to see what Ginn can do for us. Improved route-running, better hands, put on more muscle and now plays fast sound like some great improvements that he has made. I wasn't aware of his 2,086 combined yard total which set the rookie record. Oh and btw, since Brady Quinn seems to be tied in with every Ginn article, I still rather take Ginn and Beck over Quinn.
While I still think that Quinn was the pick that should have been made at #9, I show no disdain whatsoever for Ted Ginn. I'm happy he's a Dolphin and he's working his tail off to improve. When we find our QB, we'll see what he can really do!
Quinn and who else? If Beck isn't on the Dolphins next year, then we likely got a bad deal. But if Quinn is anything short of a god, we win big!
I think that's a reasonable expectation. I haven't done any math on it, but based on how he was progressing last season, and the improvements to the team and Ginn himself, 800 yards and 4 receiving TDs sounds like a lock!
i try to temper my expectations and keep them realistic. given his progression and how much of a question mark the rest of our offense is, i would be happy with that.
based on how much they probably plan on running the ball, it will be hard for Ginn to see the ball a lot. that said, he needs to make the chances count. I can see some really nice play-action fakes to Brown/Williams with Ginn streaking down the sideline one-on-one after the safety bites.
