Repercussions for using a high draft choice , a very valuable asset on him goes to who?

When , if ever , are we , this franchise going to take multiple steps forward sequentially , instead one one forward , one back and one or two sideways?

If a change is needed , why would we wait , or how long do we wait . When will it become acceptable to move on this . I hate rebuilding every few years , I am sure we all do , but if we never do it right , we will keep doing it wrong.

It was a positive win , and we showed some resolve and plusses , I fear we treadmill the second half and nothing substantial will be changed and that next year it will be more of the same and 10 or more wins again won't happen and that the non playoff run gets longer and longer.

It is interesting that on a Sunday Miami is not playing they are getting a lot of attention. And not the kind a team wants. I do hope this ultimately benefits everyone.

Why, if ever, would you not take an elite type of passrusher in a pass dominated league.

To me, it is not talent acquisition, the Staff just won't play guys..period.

Like Yeatman over Sims in pass packages, if Sims was so poor, why stick with him.

The comment was about Martin .

I really really liked the selection of Jordan . Was it a reach? Perhaps , but maybe just great foresight. That he is not impacting , and playing more is a concern to me personally though . If it is a coaching decision or coaching , then does that fall on Philbin or Coyle only? Not sure I would say that.

Results not excuses , at some point imo we need that and 8 -8 this year isn't it for me personally.

If the Martin choice is what we have had to date , well then that was my question.

That is the thing, mental makeup, it is impossible to really know when you draft a player.

Guy can look great on film, personally he may go home after games and vomit into trashcans and you'd never hear about it.

Ireland however, is just snakebit when it comes to offensive lineman, vets, rooks, waiver players, they come here and just fail..save for Pouncey, he has not had the eye for offensive linemen

Snakebit or simply not good enough .

Of course making the playoffs and winning a playoff(s) game would make a difference.

TY Hilton, Coby Fleener & Andrew Luck were all selected in 2012 by Indy...now that's a draft.

Yeah, it must be nice to have the first pick in each round in a loaded draft.

We beat that team btw. Carry on.

And the players from that draft class have played in as many playoff games this franchise has in a decade.

TY Hilton was picked in the 3rd round, 92nd overall. The only thing stopping Jeff Ireland from selecting TY Hilton, a Florida kid who everyone in Florida liked was Jeff Ireland and his non-stop incompetence.

I have been thinking that for some time... it seems like this front office / coaching staff doesnt like to play rookies unless they have to.

I think the Fireland quota has been filled for this thread. Thanks for topping off the tank though.

How long do we give him? Tell me. 3 more years? 5?

I want Ireland honks to tell the people who want him fired why he should be retained. Why do "Fireland" people always have to do studies on why the man is out of his depth but pro-Ireland people just need to say we are all "reactionary".

Jesus Christ man. All that has been said, quit acting like no argument has ever been made.

You act like people just pop into every thread and say "Ireland is great!" with nothing backing it up, when the opposite actually happens.

Hell, I've been on record (multiple times) saying if we don't make the playoffs this year (barring catastrophic injuries) Ireland should be replaced.

Is losing Keller for the season, and Gibson for half of it, enough to qualify?

We could have had T.Y. rather than Martin, Vernon or Egnew, and right now he looks like the better choice. In 2-3 years, things could be different.

    No, I don't think so.

Tannehill? Yes. Hartline? yes. Pouncey? yes. etc.
