If someone has made a post that gives away the ending of a show the poster can add a spoiler bracket so those who dont want to know wont see it but those who want to know the ending can press the spoiler bracket to read it. Hopefully I didnt confuse you more Debby
Spoiler it works!!! cool!! FreeStyle, follow instructions from Doc AstroZoom's post (spolier)Spoiler text(/spoiler), except substitute brackets for parentheses. [] you need to correct the spelling of the first "spoiler", and your spoiler text must be at least 5 characters long
For those still confused, there is no button. You have to manually type in the BB code. As an overview, all BB code is preceded by a [some command] and followed by [/some command]. For the spoiler tag, simply replace "some command" with the word "spoiler"
Keep these things in mind about spoilers (1) If you're subscribed to a thread which might contain spoilers, you may wish to unsubscribe: e-mail notifications of new posts don't hold the BB code, so you may see a spoiler you didn't want to see when you open an e-mail letting you know of a new post. (2) Don't quote a post if you don't want to see a spoiler contained in it. Again, the BB code won't hold in the reply window. That is all. Let me know if I've thoroughly confused you.
