I will be so ****ing disappointed in Tony Sparano if he does not go off on the refs while speaking at the post game press conference. As fired up as he is on the sidelines, he always seems to shy away from calling out anyone personally in the media, especially the refs. Well, I don't care if he gets fined $100k for whatever he says, he better ****ing say something after that bull**** hose job today. If can throw a barstool in a bar because of my anger with the decision, then this guy better have the same fire for the team that I do. Its going to take a long, long time for me to get over this hose job. Im almost used to getting hosed as a Dolphin fan, but this HAS to be the WORST.
It ranks up there. Its games like these that really make me question why I invest so much energy into games. I can't do it anymore. The NFL is meaning less and less to me each year. It's sad to say but the game has literally become a joke. **** this.
Easy to not care about that $100K fine when it's not your money. As a head coach, he can't dwell too much on it. Teams take on the personality of their head coach. He's got to set the tone and get them back on track. They got a big game in Cincy next week. They could easily become demoralized and let their season go completely off the rails. Happens to lots of teams every year. He can't let them make excuses. He's got to have them focus on what they could have done better to avoid that situation. Now as fans, we have every right to ***** about that horse****. The players can get it out of their systems today. But the coach can't get too far into it IMO.
Depending on how much money he has it might be worth the fine if it inspires his team. Something similar to a manager being ejected in baseball. Much more expensive of course. Do they really get fine 100K for complaining about the officiating?
This. Right here. I feel so pissed off and sickened by the BS calls that the NFL allows week in, and week out. It really makes you wonder if its really worth it all. All the time we spend following our team, other teams, college games to scout for our pro team... then you have your team, outplaying the best team in the league only to loose the game on a blatantly blown call. The worst part is... I'm just a fan. Imagine how the players who busted their asses on that field only to have a win basically stolen from them by the officials. The guys who are paid to ensure fair play on the field.
They are going to destroy Cincinnati. The refs won't matter. I don't see them as the type to wallow in self pity. I have a feeling they are going to resopnd well.
