Thanks for the info man, I thought I was the only one having this problem.

I just started to DL inFAMOUS, does it really take 150 minutes to download or is the PS Network still screwed up?

Considering you’re downloading nearly 10GB, 2.5 hours sounds about right unless you use Verizon FiOS.

Let’s put it this way, there’s a reason there are no multi-disc PS3 games.

No, but it's one of the two I'm getting. It's supposed to be great for co-op.

After two errors to get into the store, it was smooth in selecting and downloading Dead Nation and SSHD.

I’m getting errors left and right as I navigate through the PS Store, but nonetheless I have Wipeout HD + Fury downloading. Wipeout’s fun enough for this (very) casual racing fan. Still not sure what my second game will be. Probably inFAMOUS.

If you haven't played InFamous (and have any love for super heroes or villains), I definitely would suggest it. It's one of my favorite games this generation.

So I think I am ****ed here....because of all this ****, I set up my oringal PSN 2 years ago on PS.com and not through my PS3. Well I was one of the unlucky one's once the hack was fixed, that had to "wait on a email" from sony to reset my password. Well when I FINALLY....and I emphasize FINALLY got the email, once clicking the link to reset my password, I got nothing but "request timed out" from any computer or iphone I tried it from. So, naturally, wanting to play COD I created another name and have been playing.

Well I don't qualify for the free game's because technically my account wasnt created BEFORE the hack. So I am screwed because of Sony's once again mistakes. This is annoying. I wanted to play InFamous. I was apart of this entire fiasco, I should get the "welcome back" kit just like everyone else, but it seems I won't.

I downloaded InFamous yesterday without much problem. It is a 7.5 GB download so it took about an hour or so which I actually thought was pretty fast. I'm trying to decide what the second game should be. I'm leaning towards dead nation right now.

Sounds like you should call/ e-mail sony about it. Not sure what previous "mistakes" of sony's you were screwed by though.

I’ve played inFAMOUS, it just doesn’t appeal to me very much. But neither do the rest of the free games.

Everything I've read about Dead Nation is real good, especially on co-op.

I agree when I first got my PS3 my brother let me borrow it and needless to say I was stuck in my room for a couple days hooked. I liked the last fight I felt like a badass when I won it :P

What if I said that I’m neutral on zombies as a genre, and that I already have Alien Swarm on Steam to provide a top-down shooting experience? :shifty:

We’ll see. I may just get inFAMOUS and play it during the summer drought.

I got it fixed! Got my original PSN name back (add me :shifty: FailHorn)

I downloaded InFamous. Game is ****ing awesome! It's like Spiderman on the ps2 and UnCharted mixed together. I love it. Obsessed.

I am now DL'ing and installing Little Big Planet......how's this game? Hope I like it.

And Pete, I exaggerated "screwed" but I meant the hacking and potential theft of my information.

Well I was agreeing that Sony was screwing you if you couldn't get your original ID back, I just didn't know what else they did. The hacking isn't something I blame sony for.

LBP is amazing even though it's more of a "kids" game. If you didn't have any of the games, I would suggest choosing LBP and InFamous.

Haven't touched Infamous yet, but I'm having a lot of fun with Dead Nation. Tough game. I started on the third from highest difficulty and wasn't getting anywhere. Had to swallow my pride and notch it down to "normal".

I don't have enough memory on my console to download these games. have to figure out how to delete older downloads first. but I was thinking Infamous and LBP. does LBP require a subscription?
