Gase is a good head coach, anybody who says he is not does not know what they are talking about. He has dealt with great adversity both last year and this year and produced a winning team, however while giving credit where credit is due we also have to recognize his shortcomings.

Gase is not a good playcaller. He is trying to do too much right now and it is not working out for the offense. He is slow to make adjustments, he doesnt mix his plays very well and is extremely predictable. Even the atlanta players admitted they new exactly what plays we were going to run. Gase himself has critisized his playcalling in the past as well.

I think he should definitely swallow his pride for the good of the team and let the OC handle the playcalling as well as letting Cutler audible at the LOS. Gase has too much on his plate as it is being the head coach of this team, calling plays should not be one of the things he should handle imho.

I will say this, McAdoo gave his play calling duties to his OC and they won. I did see better playcalling, including the elimination of the bubble screen. Everything develops from the run, if they can run like this CONSISTENTLY, you will see see better, aggressive play calls

They only started running it successfully after they opened up the defense with the pass. Us being down made gase open up the pass instead of running it against 7 to 9 man fronts. Us losing made gase go off script and that's when we have success. Everybody knows gase's scripted plays and what he likes to call he is very predictable.

Agree hot man I tried to post this sentiment but got lambasted as knee jerking hater but whatever. Gase needs to hand over the offense and focus on other things

??? In the first quarter, Ajayi has 40+ yards on six carries.

Yeah I don't think that's true at all. We just passed more towards the end of the first half, and beginning of the second half to preserve time. A failed pass wastes no clock, a failed run can burn like 30 seconds off the clock.

We picked the running game back up when we got closer in score. At least, that's how it felt. It'd be interesting to see the first and second half splits. I'd venture to guess that the defense settling in in the second half had more to do with it then a change in overall playcall philosophy.

Edit: I just checked, Ajayi had 71 yards in the first half, over half of his total rushing yards for the game.

What makes you think Gase is calling the plays?

That Gase has less to do with calling plays than most believe.

And where are your facts to back up this "theory"? Everybody including gase has said he calls the plays and is responsible for the offense.
