To each their own I guess. I like having the player's name on there. I show my work elsewhere where sports isn't always king. So for them, placing a name with the image is paramount. Besides, it looks incomplete without the name imo. But thanks for the kind words.
I am probably one of the bigger Beatles fan you will ever meet. My ipod has hundreds of songs/interviews etc. Read anything I can find on them and the artwork hanging in my house tops it off. I love the Beatles.

I typically don't have the time with work, and now taking on my new role over at www.finhell.com Ths site is filled to the brim with uber talented artists. I just fool around in there typically,so my skills aren't to the level of the others. But on occasion I stumble across something that I think looks halfway decent (like the ones above) and post them. In_Flames, Darkmistress, L2G, Gish and a few others do a good job of creating new and interesting stuff. But thanks for the kind words.
