    Best move we can make is to bring him in and let him do whatever the hell he wants. Keep Philbin? Sure. Fire him? Go get your guy. Then jump right into the draft.

    If Philbin is going to be retained (I assume he will be), then I'd like for him to have a large say in who the next GM is. I don't want to end up in this cluster**** again, where two completely different entities (GM and Coach) are being brought together by an outside party (owner) in hopes they mesh. I want our GM and coach to be on the same page. None of this "Ireland wanted XYZ and Philbin didn't" bull****. GM and Coach should be connected to the hip. If one gets canned the other should follow.
