If Philbin is going to be retained (I assume he will be), then I'd like for him to have a large say in who the next GM is. I don't want to end up in this cluster**** again, where two completely different entities (GM and Coach) are being brought together by an outside party (owner) in hopes they mesh. I want our GM and coach to be on the same page. None of this "Ireland wanted XYZ and Philbin didn't" bull****. GM and Coach should be connected to the hip. If one gets canned the other should follow.
