Trade Zach Miller and Kenny Britt for Dallas Clark?

3 WRs start, 1 TE, ppr

My other WRs are Austin, Fitz, and Nicks. On the bench I also have Brandon Tate and John Carlson.

I've been debating this for a while now. Believe it or not, Miller is the #2 TE right now to Clark's #3.

“Believe it or not”? I drafted Miller specifically because I expected him to be top 5.

I don’t see the point, unless you’re afraid that QB instability will catch up with Miller. But at the same time, Peyton Manning doesn’t look like Peyton Manning this year.

I’d say no, don’t do the trade.

I did too, but I thought Clark would have a good lead on him by now.

Not worried about QB in OAK. Both of them love to throw to the TE.

My rationale was that Clark has a higher ceiling but is probably a bit more inconsistent. Then again, how long do I expect the Raiders to stay consistent for.

Manning still leads all QBs in points for what it's worth.

For as long as Tom Cable can resist Al Davis’ skeletal grip and keep Gradkowski on the job.

I would do that trade in a hearbeat.

You will never sit Dallas Clark unless his bye in week seven.

    Great trade for you, imo.

Gradkowski's only problem is he keeps getting annihilated every week. Campbell came in and played decent this week though. Miller's 6 yard TD was from JC.

    I'd never sit Miller either.

IND just concerns me bc of how many diff targets they have. Although Clark seems to be the exception who always gets his looks.

As a Miller owner, I noticed that his production didn’t really take off until Gradkowski came in.

Def seemed like he targeted Miller a lot more.

But, that was also around the same time Murphy and Schillenz got beat up.

I would try do this trade straight up. Miller has been a little dinged up and Clark has a much more consistent quarterback throwing to him. Both are going to be top 5 TEs though, it might make sense to look at the matchups during the critical games left on your schedule (and come playoff time too) before pulling the trigger.

Britt actually looks to be coming around pretty well. You might want to hang on to a guy like that in the event that Austin, Nicks, or Fitz get injured (because I don't share the faith in Tate following the Branch trade).

I'm trying to get Miller in a trade for Torain right now, the potential trade partner is absolutely RB starved after he drafted Reggie Bush high and has Witten on the bench. It might, just might, work.

Campbell will be starting next week as he finished the SD game and Gradkowski is banged up. Id stick with clark and if you are looking to fill other holes do it by trading clark and starting Carlson imo. TEs get the least amount of points and Clark is one of the best. you knew his production would drop off with an increased role for Collie and Garcon and Anthony Gonzalez coming back.

Also I agree with poco about Britt. He started the year in the doghouse but he is a reliable wr3 as long as Young is QB. Young always looks for him in the redzone. It would be nice if Poco would be so active in ThePhins Fantasy Football :)

I think Tate will be fine. Branch takes away the most snaps from Edelman, imo. Tate should still be out there with Welker in every 2 WR set.

I really don't want to give up Britt either.

You have it backwards, I have Miller/Britt.

I thought I was signed up (yahoo?), and then couldn't find the link anymore. So I figured I must have screwed up in the registration bit. Am I actually in a league I don't know about?

If it makes a diff, here's my full roster:

    QB: Romo, Orton

RB: Rice, Foster, M Bush, Blount (gone)

WR: Austin, Fitz, Nicks, Britt, B Tate

    TE: Miller, Carlson

Really just lookin to improve it wherever I can at this point.

Take Clark then imo. Sell high on Miller. Starters win in FF as long as you have respectable depth. use the extra roster spot for the best available WR or RB. Someone like a Golden Tate could see more action after the Branch trade and an increased role.

yep youre in that league you dont know about on Yahoo
