Actually I have to use a phone service where I tell them what I want posted, then they post it for me. Think of me as being hearing impaired.
I'm in and will take the Jaguars again....and would to tell everyone that questioned my addition of Peyton Manning to suck it
Also in the commishs defense, I just checked and last years team selection thread wasn't posted until Jan. 22. So he has time......
I still wish we had 3-4 football minds that are respected and may be able to withdraw personal reasons in their voting. It's hard for me to trash talk you Nancy's and still hope to get votes. And is it fun for anyone if we are all giggling and thanking each others posts.
I vote regardless of trash talking, if there's a good job being done they get a vote from me. The only reason I don't vote for you are you're moves like taking Gabbert over Newton or some craziness like that.
haha.. i thanked you. Even if you appoint a council of voters that aren't GM's, there will always be political lobbying.
This has been done before with voting from those outside the GMs, guess who won... I'll give you a hint, the team that the board is about.
I, for one, couldn't give less of a **** what a bunch of random people think of a team I assemble to amuse myself, so I've no clue what this is all about.
So........ In all honesty the voting is rather meaningless to me as well. People are voting on their own speculation, its inherently biased.
For the most part yes, some people I think get unwarranted votes for reputation or personal reasons good or bad. A lot of us are older and wiser now so maybe it won't be an issue.
So........ Its not even that, I think for the most part everyone does a job of being impartial. My point is that people are essentially voting on the opinions of other people. If someone used a top 10 pick on Russell Wilson, I think the majority of people would have said that was a bad pick. In hindsight though the pick would have been a great one.
I agree. This is pretty much a time-wasting exercise for me. Something fun to get through until next season. I really couldn't give a rat's backside if I get votes.......but maybe thats because I know I'm not well-liked enough to ever win.
Exactly. Voting right away, before the next season plays out is inherently wrong anyways. It's impossible to know how good a team you've put together until the games are played. Really, when you think about it this entire 2 month exercise is rather silly and a big fat waste of time. And I can't wait to start.
My first half season as the Bills, I don't recall what I was trying to do. I think I was trying to make a team of tweeners. Last year, I was trying to trade anything I could for any picks, whether it made my team better or not. It's just fun to set your own objectives and try to reach them while dicking around.
