So I had some time to think...

This was a tough loss fellow dolfans, please read and comment. I tried to study for a midterm, could not concentrate, kept thinking "how the **** did we blow that?" I pigged out on ice cream and PB to ease the pain. Yes, like one of those idiots after a breakup. I'm married to the Dolphins. I know this franchise has a good shot at becoming an elite dynasty like one in the next decade. However, after seeing the Cards win 9 games and make the super bowl, they showed anyone can. Including us.

Now. Yes yes we should be proud of going toe to toe with the best team in the NFL and almost coming out with a win. For the 2nd time this year(colts game). However, in this game, we had a huge lead we should NOT have blown. I don't care if we're not super bowl contenders, you cant let that happen.

The turning point was the refs screwing up the call before the half, thus stopping the clock giving the saints another chance. Then we call the worst timeout of all time to give the saints a real chance. That was it. Downhill from there. The offense collapsed. I know, the defense gave up a lot of points, but the offense kept putting them right back on the field. I cant blame the D, they did everything they could. The Saints actually controlled time of possession in the 2nd half.

Ginn sucks. Even my mom said "he should not have dropped that pass." She doesnt even know who Ginn is. Congrats, now everyone thinks you suck. He COULD be a #2 or 3 WR, possibly. maybe. Dont care, we have Bess, Hartline and Camarillo for that. We better fix that in the offseason. For now, camarillo should be the #1, not ginn. First he bobbles it into the saints hands then drops one wide open. Cant. Take. It. Anymore.

The Bills, Jets and Pats all won, putting us back in last place. Yes they all played ****ty teams, but this hurts for at least a week. Now we face a must win against the Jets, two games behind them. I'm confident, but still. If we beat them we're in good shape since our schedule gets easier, and the Pats and Steelers are not nearly as scary as the Saints and Colts.

Oh and Gibril Wilson still blows.

We are the only team to challenge the Saints so far this season which is a good sign. But that second half was pathetic. At least we sent a message that no team can have an easy win. However, think of the message we send if we had won the game.

Props to Ricky for scoring 3 TDs and having the longest run of his career. Ricky Williams is our top offensive player of the day. He was against the Falcons as well since he got our only TD that game. Not bad for a 32 year old RB. And JT. The old guys kept us in this. You can't have all young players.
