After sitting it out this year, I'm voting a resounding YES! I'm tired of seeing this team develop and grow in a stadium that is half empty and with a listless crowd. We seemingly have our QB of the future, a draft stockpile, a long term coaching solution and $$$ to spend this offseason. I'm not going to get caught up in the Fireland BS or the assumption that we are guaranteed to fail next season. I'm calling the Dolphins and jumping back onboard tomorrow. We need to support this franchise. Attendance has been putrid this season and is embarrassment to this storied franchise. Anyone else with me?
If I lived anywhere nearby, I'd definitely get season tickets. Of course, that'd have been true for this season as well.
??? We were 5-3 at home this year and should've been 6-2 if not for a missed FG. Sorry if I disagree with the whole fair weather fan mentality. I think it's ridiculous. Some of you massively take for granted the fact you live close enough to attend games.
It is infectious. I can't stand being at JRS when it's half full and feels like a preseason game. I did it twice this year and was just pissed the entire time instead of enjoying the game. Fan apathy in South Florida is beyond pathetic.
Well sorry that i'm not sorry. I have a limited budget, and i'm going to spend it on whatever gives me the most satisfaction. I'm not saying i wont go to a single Dolphins game, but i definitely need to see more before i take money from the Heat and move it to the Dolphins.
Limited budget is understandable then. You're exempt from the fair weather fan comment, my friend. Plenty of others still aren't though. lol
I only regret I foolishly spent more than i should have by going to watch the Marlins. The stadium alone was worth one visit, but there was no excuse for going 3 more times after that.
Maybe when I graduate college and get a decent job under my belt. Then again, hopefully we are Super Bowl contenders by then.
I need to see what we do in the off-season ocala is like an 7 hour round trip for me to watch a game. If we get a stud wr and a few upgrades in the defense could be worth it.
Its more than that, isn't it? I mean i remember it being that when I lived in Orlando. Its more like 9 hours I think.
Do something about the stadium, bring the seats closer, put a beautiful European soccer awning on the roof, paint the seats aqua, move the big screens down to the upper level.. Get the players and fans closer together...it was sad as hell watching thousands of fans go home after the third quarter today, noone standing when we were on defense, the occassional clapper is all you see,Theres got to be something done about the lack of intimacy in that building.. If you can afford it, I see no reason why you wouldn't get season tickets..football teams don't win championships without the help of a supportive fanbase..I believe the fanbase and it's turnout this year cost the team a game, so I think there is a negative impact happening.. We are the 2nd youngest team in the league..50 mill in cap, and five picks in the first three rounds.. Sign Greg Jennings..Draft Dion Jordan with your first pick, Tavon Austin with your 2nd..and you just added the two most impressive players in space in the draft..
