I heard this... it must have been VERY few flakes, if any. I doubt it's true, but I hope it is.

 Some people feel the same about hot weather as you do about cold.

    Me, for instance.

As a former northerner, I dont miss Winter at all. The only POSSIBLE exception would be a traditional "white" Christmas, but I can give that up for not dealing with the rest of it no problem lol.

    Ugh!

    Proud?

It has been in the 30's all week. Are you going with the sleeveless look like the NFL players before they run to the sideline to put on a beenie and coat?

I went to NY for about a week in late Dec a few years ago, it was cold as ****, mid to low 20s not factoring in wind chill factor. It did not snow though.

Actually trained spotters are very very important in the mid-south. We go through about three hours training people so that we can get accurate reports on hail, wind speed, and yes even tornadoes. You would be shocked at how few of the general public can tell the difference between a funnel cloud and scud.

No, its just the cold doesnt bother me...at all.

I'd be that defensive tackle you see shirtless before a playoff game in the snow, looking all crazy and screaming to get pumped up

Except I look nothing like a DT just FYI

I'd be interested to know where it did actually snow and what areas of the state recorded none....I saw nothing in WPB and friends in Okeechobee saw nothing as well. It seems in most of south Florida, the rain let up before the temp dropped low enough
