    Like someone read my mind:

I didn't think he was that much of a diva but the inconsistency is by far my biggest problem with him.

Thanks for posting that. Again, I hope it dispels this myth that he's good or he would be quality player for our team. I've watched the guy for 3 years and he isn't good.

Are you talking about Bess? You couldn't be talking about Hartline

Supposedly Mike Sims-Walker has already been contacted by Houston and St. Louis.

Hmmmm....... so what you're saying is he was a big factor in one of their victories? Interesting. I like that.

Did the author mention that Jax used 4 different QBs during the year?.... and that the backups accounted for 22% of the pass attempts and a QB rating in the 60s? Naw, that doesn't affect anything. :glare:

Vs Dallas: 101 of his yards and 1 TD came during Jax's first 21 points that beat Dallas 35-17, so that "blowout" statement was ridiculous. He & MJD are the reasons they won that game. The last I checked, you have to MOVE THE BALL & SCORE POINTS first before it even reaches a blow out. Those yards are only meaningless if they came AFTER the blowout.

The SD game "blowout statement" wasnt fair b/c it wasn't a blow out for a while and MSW was helping Jax move the ball. They had 5 or 6 turnovers that killed a lot of drives that had scoring potential.

Vs Indy: His 2 second half TDs gave Jax an opportunity to almost beat the Colts. His 1st TD made it 24-17 Indy late in the 3rd. The very next drive he catches a 23 yarder to put Jax in FG position, only to have Garrard throw an INT on the next play...... allowing Indy to kick a FG, 27-17. 2 drives later he catches another TD to make it 27-24. Onside kick is returned to make it 34-24.

Vs Buffalo: 20-20 late in the 3rd qtr....... until MSW, in 1 drive, had 4 catches for 44 yards and the game winning TD.

Vs KC: (4th string QB Todd Bouman is playing. wooo-hooo!!!). Score is 14-10 with 1:32 left in 1st half. MSW has 2 catches in a row for 9 yards and 20 yards...... followed by drawing a PI that puts the ball on the 1. Jax settles for FG, 14-13. He then catches a TD in 3rd qtr to make it 21-20 KC. Bouman throws a pick six making it 28-20 and the horrible QB never recovers. MSW was a big reason Jax was even in the game.

    How about the 2009 season?

Vs Houston: (6 catches for 81 yards in Jags 31-24 win) MSW converts opening drive 3rd & 6 on the Jaguars 12 for 17 yards that leads to a Jags FG, 3-0..... With Jax trailing 21-17 in 2nd half: MSW catches 3 passes for 47 yards <including a huge 3rd & 10 conversion> in a TD drive that gives Jags a 24-21 lead.

Vs Tenn: (7 catches, 91 yards, 2 TDs) MSW scores 14 of Jags 27 1st half points to beat Titans 37-17.

Vs Rams: (9 catches, 120 yards in 23-20 win)....... including a key 26 yarder late in 4th qtr that directly leads to a Jags TD and chance to win in overtime.

Vs Chiefs: (6 catches, 147 yards, 1 TD in 24-21 win) <with a 22 yarder called back>..... including a 61 yd TD to make it 14-6, followed by a 45 yarder on 3rd & 4 that directly lead to a Jags FG, 17-6. If not for a KC onside kick recovery, his score is the winning TD. (Directly responsible for 10 of 24 pts)

Vs Jets: Caught key 26 yard TD in 24-22 win.

Vs Bills: (8 catches, 91 yards, 1 TD in 18-15 win) Caught game winning 4th qtr TD...... Caught 28 yarder down to Bills 1 that directly leads to MJD TD.... then 3 catches for 35 during the game winning drive. (directly responsible for 15 of the 18 pts.)

Vs Indy: (6 catches, 64 yards, 1 TD) Opening drive: Converts 3 3rd downs in a row leading to Jags FG, 3-0. Catches 16 yard TD in 3rd qtr to give Jags 24-21 lead. Indy comes back to win 35-31. (directly responsible for 10 pts)

See, you can spin his stuff in a positive light, too. :wink2:

Sims Walker might not have huge yardage numbers, but many of his yards are impact yards, which IMO is what we're lacking from Hartline.

hmmmm...... how about if the Rams pick him up and let Julio fall to us?

Then we just need the Skins to pass on him.

Let us pray for that b/c IMO there is no one else in that range who'd be a good fit for us.

Sure, you can spin his minimal production (43/79 targets) and blame other factors like QB (Even though Garrard played out of his mind at times this year), but what you can't spin is that he disappeared for more games than he showed up for.

The character and injury concerns are also not spinnable.

I mean does noboby else find it weird that JAX wants nothing to do with their best WR when they're desperate for WR talent?
